LASER is primarily used to treat wounds and superficial injuries. Due to advances in technology, the depth of treatment available now by class 4 lasers is suitable to treat at depths of the horses facet joints in the spine and potentially the sacroiliac region on some horses.

Superb for treating trigger points and reducing pain due to its effect on end plates and c fibres. It has a positive effect on oedema and therefore is very effective in acute cases. In chronic cases it can work but does take more treatment sessions.
